What you surround yourself impacts your lived experience. Studies now show that view art in real life reduces stress and anxiety, lowers inflammation and balance your nervous system. Personally, i believe art should first make you feel something and in the case of my work, i aim to spark feelings of joy, awe, curiosity, beauty or calm.

There are a glimpse behine the scenes of my creative proces; like owning a sketch of one of the classical painters (like my favorites Miro, Van Gough or Hilda Van Klint).

Each one of these is a rabbit hole into a particular emotional body, feeling or mystical, heart-center concept. i (Adriane) believe one of the roles of the artist is to transmute or alchemize the collective energetic body. As such, these small collections or studies are made in a short period of time and a reflection of my effort to reflect and capture a moment in our collective lived experience, often moving though the cycle of grief to beauty and awe.
